The list of these 1741-1745 Harvard graduates reads like a "Who's Who" of leaders that were instrumental in changing America from colony to new nation.

These are the men who led America through a revolution and insured its beginnings as a secure nation by providing the framework for the new nation’s government. From the Coffins, Cottons and Cushings, to members of the Emerson, Foster, Hubbard, Longfellow and Otis families, these are people who risked much in order to win freedom and democracy for the United States.
